Put-in-Bay Boating & Dockage

If you are traveling to Put-in-Bay, Ohio via a private boat, (or trailing a boat) there are several docking options to choose from: There are Mooring Buoys, Public and Private Docks, (see list & details below), and there are two Public Boat Ramps available. One ramp is located in downtown PutinBay in between the Public Dock "C" and the Jet Express Dock. The other is located in the South Bass Island State Park, on the south side of the island. The State Park ramp is wider and has a gentler slope than the downtown one, and there's also more trailer parking available. Also, if you are planning to trail a boat to PutinBay, you will need to take the Miller Auto and Passenger Ferry Boat, which leaves from Catawba Point.

Daily Rates: $1.40 per foot.
Overnight Rates: $1.40 per foot.
Monitor channel 9. Mandatory rafting.
Jet Skis & Rubber Rafts (in water or on swim platform): $5 each.

DERIVERA PARK (B DOCK)
Daily Rate: $1.40 per foot weekdays, $1.40 per foot weekends.
Check out is at 11 am. Boats can begin docking at 8 am if dockage
is available. Dockage is from the time the boat is docked until
11 am the following day. Mandatory rafting.
Jet Skis & Rubber Rafts (in water or on swim platform): $5 each.

124-foot pier is open to the public and is
available by reservation only. We currently
charge $1.50 per foot for overnight dockage
(same rate for all). A $20 day rate
(four hours maximum) is available space permitting.
Other facilities on site, such as the launch ramp,
are free to PIBYC members and members of I-LYA
or AYC affiliated clubs. We charge a $5 ramp fee
for non-members.
